Chicken Parmesan
From Alex Montgomery
For this awesome recipe that I for one will try sometime, you’ll need:
An oven – I hope you have this one, because not many people do…jk ;)
A 9” X 12” brownie pan
Ramen noodles
Breaded, precooked, fried chicken patties – If they are not precooked, you could cook them yourself. (Well, unless you don’t cook. In which case you won’t be making this recipe, and I have no clue why you are still reading.)
Spaghetti sauce
Cheese – Any kind will probably do, but since this is parmesan chicken I’d recommend using fresh parmesan cheese.
A cup of boiling water
Instructions:
Preheat your oven to 375 degrees. Empty the pack of ramen noodles into the brownie pan to cover the bottom. Sprinkle some of the flavoring from the noodles package on the noodles. Don’t put it all on though, or it will be way too salty! Put the chicken patties on top of the noodle layer and pour the cup of boiling water over top. Next, pour the spaghetti sauce on top of the chicken. You should have 3 layers: Noodles, Chicken, and then Spaghetti sauce. Stick it in the oven for about 8 minutes. Put the cheese on top of the spaghetti sauce and let it cook for another two minutes. Take it out and enjoy!

Where did this recipe originally come from?
AM: I got it from my mother.
When was the first time you had it?
AM: I first had it at a Boy Scout campout in 2004.
Why is it special to you?
AM: It’s special to me mainly because it is so good! Chicken parmesan is one of my personal favorites, and it is also really easy to make.
When is this meal usually eaten?
AM: It is the main course and is usually eaten for either lunch or dinner (supper), though I prefer it for lunch, honestly.
What does it taste like?
AM: It tastes like a chicken and spaghetti mixture. The noodles and spaghetti sauce with the chicken flavor create a soft, tangy taste. Combined with the fried chicken patty, it tastes like light chicken flavored spaghetti with chunks of fried chicken. It’s really hard to explain, but it’s really good! The texture is very smooth though the chicken patty may be a little rougher.
How easy is it to make out of 5 stars?
** 2 stars!
AM: I think it would be either a one or a two because it is extremely easy to put together, and it takes under 20 minutes to cook. It’s delicious too!
Soooo, go ahead and try it at home! Feedback is greatly appreciated! Also, send us your super duper recipes for the “Christmas Treat” contest. Don’t you want to win it? Yes, you crave it like you crave chicken parmesan!
