Here I am at midnight writing the third article for Northern Lights. In some ways it's hard to believe we're already this far, and in others it seems like we should be farther. We're getting some things worked out for how our system will work so this will be a “lite” issue.

Has anyone noticed the advent of the new Senior High Student Café? There are now great new folders like “Careers,” and some of the old stuff has been cleared away. Overall, I think it’s a fresher look. I've only taken a brief look at the Careers folder, but it looks like it is off to a good start.
Most people have probably heard this a hundred times by now, but it is about time to send Yearbook surveys if you haven’t already. Perhaps one day you can look back and say, “See, kids, I really wasn't all that dorky.” Then of course they say, “Yeah right, Dad."

Valentine's Day is coming up, and if there are some kinds of dances going on, I don't know about them, although there has been talk in that direction. I can recommend something, though. If you happen to be in the sticky situation that you don't have anything to do on Valentine's Day, you can probably go dance with a toad in the Hand Me That Stick folder. That place is a great way of relieving stress!

As we move on to the Creative Writing folder, you can naturally expect to see an update on Courage with Serenity. Kylie released chapter 25 and left a lot of people hanging, but we can all rejoice as she just released chapter 26 as well. Anyone following the stories by Mark Rowe, Megan Yee, J.Edge, Josh S.,Lacey Zuehlsdorff, Alex Montgomery, Andrew Maust,Carissa Hoffman, and Anna Milograno should also check the Creative Writing folder for the latest. As usual, we also have an excellent selection of poems.
Congratulations Graeme Lebsack and Lacey Zuehlsdorff on completing the Training RP! I hope you two enjoy the Senior High RPs.
It appears that the Southeast Asiafolder has been revived. Anyone from Southeast Asia should go and share their experiences. Everyone else might find some interesting reading in there as well. Jessica Engel has brought the folder back with a story about her hair. That would be the first thing I would read.
Has anyone been wondering what the Cheerleading folder is for? If you are, then you might want to check it out now because there is an explanation of what it is and how to join the Cheerleading Squad.

Wil Egan has volunteered to report on the Junior High, but is presently busy. If anyone else wants to help out with it, please contact either myself or one of the other reporters.

The Reporter Staff is proud to welcome Maria Watters and Wil Egan to the team. Wil will be working as a Junior High reporter and Maria as an elementary reporter. Also, Sarah Warwick and Maria Watters, the two elementary reporters, will be working as interviewers due to the lack of activity in the Elementary Student Café. Don't be surprised if you get a message from Sarah or Maria after participating in a large chain! Finally, I want to thank all of the reporters for working so hard to get their jobs done even with all the hustle and bustle of working out the system. I especially want to thank Sarah Warwick for being so patient with me for missing our chat meetings.

If you have anything to ask us, or if you think we could improve this article in anyway, just write me, Josh Stewart.
