Anything using electricity relies on the same basic electrical components arranged in many different ways. This course covers basic concepts of electricity. Series and parallel circuits, series and parallel combination circuits, batteries and power systems, capacitors, and diodes are among the covered subjects. Circuit building is the focus of second semester. Students will use a SunFounder Super Starter Kit V3.0 for Arduino, designed for the beginner to do more interesting experiments. No prior experience in electronics is needed, only a willingness to follow step-by-step instructions to put together some fascinating small devices.
GREAT SCOTT!! There is more to electronics than meets the eye. HOW SHOCKING!!
Indeed there is. In this class, you will be learning about the mathematical and scientific background behind what goes on in electronic devices. You will even have the opportunity to build your own electronic devices using a lab kit from SunFounder. There are many fun and interesting things planned for you in this course. So if you are interested, I look forward to seeing you there!!!
