ENGL 400 explores great British Literature, from Beowulf through Chaucer, Shakespeare, Milton, Donne, Swift, Tennyson, Hopkins, et al, into the 20th century. This is a rich and challenging course intended to develop critical thinking and aid student transition into post-secondary studies by interpreting, analyzing, synthesizing and evaluating literature.
Monsters, and pilgrims, and knights, oh my! British Literature is full of enjoyable and exciting works. Join us as we explore tales of courage, chivalry, adventure, love, and faith. From Old English to Modern English, we will explore it all. Even if you have never been a fan of literature, you will enjoy this course! There is something for everyone. This class utilizes fun projects with art, technology, and creativity – with a plethora of choices to learn and demonstrate your knowledge. Come join us on this amazing adventure!
