This course will give you the basic fundamentals to start working in the kitchen and gaining experience as you explore and establish your talents for preparing food in a creative, safe way. The recipes will include some main courses, snacks, and desserts. You will also learn about the restaurant industry, its history, its basic business model, and the skills and responsibilities of good employees.
A stable Internet connection is needed for this class.
The only thing better than biting into something delicious is learning how to make and share that delicious dish! If you’ve wanted to learn more about the foodservice industry, the basics of cooking, and even opening your own restaurant, you will love Introduction to Culinary Arts. While we learn about where the foodservice industry came from and where it’s headed, we will also try such recipes as fried chicken, boiled shrimp, and cookies. Your family and friends will be impressed with your skills and you will have fun building your culinary arts portfolio. If you want to learn more about a career as a chef or a restaurant owner, or if you just want to be able to cook the things that you like to eat, this course will be fun and informative.

Overall, this class was one of nicest classes I have had out of all the current classes I had. It was very fun to learn about the industry and cooking.
