Math 7 builds a foundation and helps students prepare for the transition to pre-algebra through daily lessons that include teacher notes and videos, practice, application, and review. Students are regularly required to reflect on the concepts they are learning, to explain their work, and to communicate their understanding of key concepts.

Key concepts covered in this course include the following: algebraic reasoning, applying integers and rational numbers, proportional relationships, graphs, percents, collecting and displaying data, geometric figures and measurement, probability, and solving multi-step equations and inequalities.

Special Instructions:

*As part of the EVP program, this course will have a live class requirement once a week at a set time; please see the website for time choices. This live class will include teaching, discussion with classmates from around the world, demonstrations, questions and answers, and other aspects of a live classroom. Students will have weekly due dates and stay on a traditional coursework schedule.
