New for 22-23!
This is a one-year course that introduces fundamental doctrines of the Christian faith in a topical, or systematic, format. Students engage with the Bible as the foundation of belief. From that, students develop an understanding of essential doctrines of the faith. Students are challenged to see the overarching themes found across Scripture. Units include the Bible, the nature and attributes of God, creation and humanity, the nature and work of Jesus, redemption and its application, the church, doctrines concerning the future, and practical application of doctrine to real life. The course aims to see students understand the doctrines of the Bible and connect how they apply to everyday life.
*As part of the EVP program, this course will have a live class requirement once a week at a set time; please see the website for time choices. This live class will include teaching, discussion with classmates from around the world, demonstrations, questions and answers, and other aspects of a live classroom. Students will have weekly due dates and stay on a traditional coursework schedule.

When it comes to who God is, I would bet many of you could tell me WHAT you believe about Him. However, there is a big difference between knowing WHAT you believe versus knowing WHY you believe it.
Our Theology in Real Life course will help affirm and strengthen what is true about God, the Bible and a relationship with Jesus Christ…but more importantly, it will give you the tools you need to answer that “WHY?” question. Come join this class and be ready to be encouraged and challenged to grow deeper in WHAT and WHY we believe in the truth and grace available in Christ!
