Math 4 (MA4)
2 (yearlong course)
Math 3 (MA3)
Math 4 builds a strong understanding of key math skills involving number sense and computation. Students learn to multiply 2-and 3-digit numbers, use fractions, decimals, and percents, and solve problems involving geometry, measurement, and probability. Through this course, students develop foundational tools that support algebraic thinking and problem solving.
Students will need access to a printer and a scanner, scanner app, or digital camera in order to submit work for the teacher to review.
FROM THE TEACHER
Are you ready to explore the world of Mathematics? Do you enjoy discovering patterns found in the world around us? In Math 4, we will continue to build on your previous mathematical knowledge of numbers and operations, algebra, geometry, measurement, data analysis & probability, and problem solving. As mathematicians you will master your skills by working through lessons, daily practice activities, investigations, projects, classroom discussions, comprehension checks, and individualized learning using web-based math games. By the end of this course, you will be prepared to continue on to 5th grade math.
