Math 4 (MA4)
Grade 4
2 (yearlong course)
Math 3 (MA3)
In Math 4, students will build on key math skills involving number sense, computation, measurement, geometry concepts and data and probability with the move to foundational tools that support algebraic thinking and problem-solving.
In Math 4, students will use Saxon Math curriculum as they explore and investigate mathematical patterns found in the world. They will continue to build on their previous mathematical knowledge in numbers and operations, algebra, geometry, measurement, data analysis & probability, and problem solving using a spiraling curriculum. Students will master skills by working through lessons, daily practice activities, investigations, projects, classroom discussions, comprehension checks, and individualized learning using web-based math games. By the end of this course, students will be prepared to continue on to 5th grade math.
If there are books and materials for this course, they can be purchased from our Online Bookstore.
