Allene Vinzant

Teacher

Salvete! My name is Allene Vinzant, and I am excited to be teaching the Latin courses at NorthStar Academy. I have twenty-five years of experience teaching high school English and Latin in both public and private schools.

In 1993, I graduated from Asbury University with a B.A. in English/Secondary Education and have done graduate work in both Education and Latin. I am currently pursuing a graduate degree in Educational Technology. God called me to be a teacher while I was still in high school, and I look forward to partnering with you as you pursue an education and seek God’s will for your life.

Experience

24 years teaching high school English and Latin in public and private schools in Mississippi and Missouri.

B.A in English/Secondary Education from Asbury University

State of Mississippi, Class A with English and Latin endorsements
