Rhoda Burgett

Teacher

Hi, I'm Mrs. Burgett. Right now my family lives in Western New York, but we have lived in Pennsylvania and South Dakota.

I like to cook and read. I also scrapbook our family photos when I have time. I love teaching and am very blessed to be a part of the NorthStar community.

Experience

I taught for two years at Watsontown Christian Academy in Pennsylvania. I taught in Dupree, South Dakota, and at an alternative education center in Eagle Butte, South Dakota, moved back to Pennsylvania, took several years off to have kids, started homeschooling, and worked with North Rome Christian School and their drama program. Now I work for NorthStar, and with our homeschool co-op.

Qualification

I have a bachelor's degree in English Education from Houghton College, and have been certified in Pennsylvania and South Dakota, and now with ACSI.
