Shauna Mingus

I love teaching for NorthStar Academy because of the special opportunity to get to know my students around the world!

The rich cultures and experiences that our students bring to class are fascinating, and I enjoy learning about students just as much as I enjoy teaching them. I can’t wait to help you in your study of French, culinary arts, or watercolor painting!

Experience

Mrs. Mingus has taught since 1998, focusing on French, English, ESL, and Science. She has taught in public and private schools in the United States, Canada, and overseas, in addition to teaching online courses for three different schools.

She also authored online French curriculum that is used across the country, as well as science and culinary arts curriculum here at NorthStar Academy.

Mrs. Mingus taught for NSA from 2005-2008, and returned to teach here again in 2016.
