Economics

Description:

This course prepares you to understand and interact faithfully regarding economics in our society. You will define economic concepts and analyze why and how they work through real-world and hypothetical examples. With videos and case studies, you will explore both macroeconomic and microeconomic factors. You will learn how money, business, government, and society interact on a personal and a global scale while evaluating a Christian’s role within the economy.

FROM THE TEACHER

Please join us as we study the basics of economics and how it affects our everyday lives. This relevant course will help you understand what is happening in the “real world” as we explore how supply and demand work together to determine prices. We will explore career options and taxes as we learn about the role of government in controlling inflation and maintaining stability. Through text lessons, web-based labs, and reflective choice-based research projects, students will grow to understand how these topics fit our lives as citizens in this world and members of God’s Kingdom.

If there are books and materials for this course, they can be purchased from our Online Bookstore.
