FROM THE TEACHER

Throughout the year, you and your classmates will delve into the worlds of a dystopian in The Giver, the Klondike Gold Rush in The Call of the Wild, the Holocaust tragedy in The Diary of Anne Frank, and the history of meals in The Omnivore’s Dilemma. You will think deeply and engage in lively class discussions about the characters, theme, plot, and settings as you read a variety of engaging short stories. You will even create a poetry journal, where you will collect original poetry that showcases your prowess as a poet. Student Feedback

I enjoyed being able to talk to the teacher kind of in person without talking through the Teams app. I was able to get things a lot easier and I learned faster.

I enjoyed the live class sessions where I could talk with and learn from other students.

Everything was very helpful and the classes helped me understand info that I struggled with.
