Spanish 1 EVP

Description:

Immerse yourself in the beauty of the Spanish language and the richness of its diverse cultures. In the Spanish I course,students will learn basic grammar and vocabulary skills to help build their fluency and language proficiency. Students will explore the culture of Spanish-speaking countries through engaging interactive games, videos, and audio recordings and apply what theylearn through written practice, listening, and speaking exercises.

Special Instructions:

A stable Internet connection is needed for this class since all work is done online. A minimum connection speed of 5Mbps is required. iPads are not compatible with this course.

*As part of the EVP program, this course will have a live class requirement once a week at a set time; please see the website for time choices. This live class will include teaching, discussion with classmates from around the world, demonstrations, questions and answers, and other aspects of a live classroom. Students will have weekly due dates and stay on a traditional coursework schedule.

Did you know that Spanish is the most spoken non- English language in the United States? Spanish is ranked as the world’s number two language. There are over 20 countries around the world in which Spanish is the official language. Our High School Spanish course is designed with you in mind. You will be acquiring speaking, reading, writing and listening skills that will help you be an effective communicator in this language. Imagine the impact that you can have for God’s kingdom by learning this language.

Come and join us! Not only will you learn grammar and vocabulary, but you will gain a better understanding of hispanic culture in general. We will be able to pray for specific countries as we learn about their culture.
