Creative Writing

Description:

This course is for anyone who wants to improve his/her writing skills by writing narrative and creative accounts. The course will cover such topics as Outlining using the Story Sequence, Creative.

Writing using Patterning, Critiques, Writing Stories from a Picture Prompt, and Non-Rhyming Poetry.

This course is for students who are in grades 10-12.

Do you love to think? Do you love to put your thoughts on paper? Come and write with me! Creative Writing is for anyone with a sense of wonder and observation! You don't have to be a master writer or a published author in-the-making to enjoy Creative Writing. Let's encounter all kinds of ways to think and write creatively: Character Descriptions, Scenes, Dialogue, Plotlines, Poems, Advertisements, Non-Fiction, Satire, Drama--you name it! We are going to give it a try. This class is not about perfection; let's have fun!
