Wisdom Literature

In this course, students will explore how God’s wisdom is greater than their own through examining God’s interactions with Job, David, and Solomon. Students will observe how David develops an intimate relationship with God through open communication with Him. Students will have the opportunity to apply the wisdom they have gained to live successfully.

We are made or broken in our ability to make wise decisions on a daily basis. However, the process of getting wisdom embedded into our minds in such a way that we can quickly access it whether we are in the midst of tough times or good times can be challenging.

We will not only be learning the wisdom that God has made available to us in the wisdom literature section of the Bible (Job, Psalms, Proverbs, Ecclesiastes), but we will practice acquiring and integrating some of that wisdom into our daily decisions. I’m looking forward to asking our biggest questions and seeking the wisdom of God with you in this one semester course.
