FROM THE TEACHER

Want to expand your drawing abilities beyond doodles? Well this is your chance to do still-lifes, landscapes, draw your favorite animals, and much more! Drawing 1 will allow you to explore art in the context of God’s role as the ultimate Creator while encouraging an appreciation for historical works of art.

This course focuses on creating realistic-looking drawings, but also incorporates creative projects. After completing this course, you will have the foundational skills needed to continue to draw on your own!

Even though many people see drawing as something that one is naturally good at or just can’t do at all, in reality drawing is a skill-set that can be learned. Whether you are just beginning to draw or have some previous experience, the practical lessons in this course, which include subjects like shape, visual texture, pattern, and light logic, will help you continue your individual artistic journey!

This course was easy to follow. I like how you can see what you have to do. It really helped me know what needed to be done and how far along I was.

The discussions in this course were really interesting because I got to see all the fellow students in my classes art work.
